Terms of service
Last updated October 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website. By using it, you agree to them. Work we do for a client is governed by that client’s own agreement with us.
1. Who we are
Alchemy Collective LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”), provides conversion audits and ongoing, evidence-based testing for businesses, and publishes the Materia — a registry of test results — on this site.
2. Using this website
2.1 Information, not advice
Content on this site, including the Materia, is general information. A published result describes one test on one business at one time, with the confidence stated beside it; it is not a prediction of what the same change will do elsewhere. We work to keep it accurate but make no guarantee that it is complete or current, and it is not professional advice for your business.
2.2 Conduct
You agree not to:
- disrupt or interfere with the site, or attempt to bypass its security or bot protection;
- use it for anything unlawful;
- upload or transmit malicious software; or
- scrape or copy the site’s content in bulk without our written permission.
3. Client engagements
Audits and retainers are provided under a written agreement with each client that sets out scope, price, payment, term and data processing. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement governs. Requesting an audit through this site creates no obligation on either side until an agreement is in place.
4. Intellectual property
4.1 This website
Everything on this site — text, graphics, logos, software and the Materia’s contents and structure — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may link to it and quote it with attribution; any other reproduction needs our written permission.
4.2 Client deliverables
Unless a client’s agreement says otherwise, deliverables we produce for a client become the client’s property on payment. We keep all rights in our own tools, software, methods and know-how, including the testing system and the mechanism taxonomy, and may use them for other clients and in our own products.
5. Confidentiality and published results
Information exchanged during an engagement is confidential unless it is already public. Neither side will disclose the other’s confidential information without written consent.
Results may be published to the public Materia only in anonymized form — the sector is kept, the client’s name never is — unless the client agrees in writing to be named. We will use a client’s name or logo in our own marketing only with their written permission.
6. No warranty; limits of liability
This website is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes arising from them or from this site will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in New York, New York.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the updated terms apply from then on.
